AI isn’t replacing jobs, it’s replacing human connection
Much of today’s discourse is, rightly, focused on its impact on jobs and employment. But don’t forget the human elements of work and communication that AI is displacing more subtly. This is especially true when working with a client or colleague.
I am not opposed to using AI. In fact, I use it many times per day in my work. AI is not inherently bad, but when applied without awareness, it can erode human relationships. My concern grew from observations in both professional and personal interactions - every day we are becoming more like the robots we fear will take our jobs.
